Our Story
Born to Rock
Jimi Falls first hit the scene in 2008, founded by singer and guitar player Brandon James. A hard rock band that captivates their audience with gripping original music featuring subject matter that speaks of faith, hope, addiction, loss, and life — from the good to the bad and everything in between.
After winning 95 WIILROCK's Bandemonium, the band went on to share the stage with national acts including Journey, Boston, Poison, Starship, Everclear, Filter, Candlebox, Saliva, Fuel, Saving Abel, Bush, Train, Rusted Root, Days of the New, Puddle of Mudd, Local H, Bobaflex, Hinder, Uncle Kracker, Charm City Devils, and many more.
Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Jimi Falls has built a reputation for delivering powerful rock energy combined with seriously tight three-part harmonies reminiscent of classic acts like The Eagles and Crosby, Stills, and Nash. After briefly disbanding in 2010, the band reformed in 2013 with renewed energy and added bassist Brian Yelm (formerly of Driven Under) in March 2015, continuing to play shows across the Chicagoland area and beyond.
The band performs both original music and covers of the best alternative rock hits from the 90s — a show they call "The Nineties" — making every performance an unforgettable experience that connects with fans across generations.
